The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) April Meeting Minutes The TIBF monthly meeting was brought to order 7:00pm. April 16, 2015, at J/H Marine and Sales, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Scyler Hill/Vice President-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications-Snake River Bassmasters; James Brandt-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Scott Lepka- Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters. Youth Director Brian Ashton called in on phone.


Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler not present, Davanh reported
    • Treasurer Report
    • Discussion on Youth money from the TIBF Banquet and High School Nationals funds

Youth Report-Brian Ashton
    • Youth Championship Tournament-Scheduled for June 14, on Cascade Reservoir. Cutoff date to sign up is May 31.
    • High School Championship is June 28 at C.J. Strike.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller
    • Lake Lowell/Deerflat Refuge plan is in effect, we need to see how it affects the first two Lake Lowell tournaments this year. The grebe nest closures are yet to be determined.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • ISCAC is done meeting until fall session starts.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website http://www.idahobassfed.com for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourinho
    • First two South Qualifiers on Brownlee are complete; results to be posted on the website soon. Reports were that fishing was tough, but some nice fish were caught.
    • TBF Nationals are coming up April 21 - 25 on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. The TIBF Co-angler dropped out, Burt Roberts will go as our substitute.
    • Soldier Appreciation Tournament-The date will be June 20 at CJ Strike reservoir. Organizers need 10 volunteer boats for the 20 military personel that will be attending the tournament.

Old Business:
    • 2015 members: currently 289 with 20 more pending.
    • 2015 TIBF/TBF/FLW Dues-TIBF member clubs are responsible for collection from individual members. Once collected, club secretary-treasurer will sign online at www.tbfwebservices.com/app.php to create an invoice.     • 2016 Banquet planning. Date will be Feb. 20. New location is being researched.

New Business:
    • Michael Tauscher reports that a new Cabela's store is opening May 14 in Ammon, Idaho. Cabela's would like a TIBF presence at the Grand Opening event May 14, 15, 16 to talke to people and possibly do youth events. Talk to Davanh if you are interested in attending.
