He reported the following: 2015 Championship is set for Hot Springs, Arkansas; Wateree was poor fishing; Venue poor location; 2015 will be one age group 11-15yo.; Discussion is ongoing about 2015 format with age group change ie. Boat sharing morning and afternoon, etc.; Brian attended both days of Tournament Director meetings; Big change this year was the pre-fish three days leading up to tournament day.
    • Question for membership: How should we recruit the 11-15 yo. membership for future competitions? Steve Day mentioned that the SRB Youth Opens have been successful in recruiting youth to fish the open. He notes that fishing is open to all families, whether bass fisherman or non-bass fisherman. They had 40 youth this year and they could catch 3 bass and 1 other specie.
    • Idaho Youth Championship-This year Championship was cancelled due to conflict with Nationals and no applications. Brian is planning for a June 2015 Championship to qualify to 2015 Youth Nationals.
    • Brian advises it is ok for HS and College level Youth to receive $ from tournament winnings.
    • HS Fishing participation has increased significantly from last year to this year.
    • TIBF will continue to promote HS Fishing at the upcoming 2015 Sportsman Show, through the Idaho HS Athletics or HS Points-of-Contact as well as promote the HS Scholarship opportunities.

Conservation Report-Position vacant. Davanh reported.
    • Still looking for someone to fill the conservation position
    • Help rebuild the Black Canyon fishery was introduced as a possible conservation project. The fishery has been impacted by the dam rebuilding ongoing over the past year. Could the SOJ catch be transferred to Black Canyon?
