The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) August Meeting Minutes The TIBF monthly meeting was brought to order 7:00pm. , August 20, 2015, at J/H Marine and Sales, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications- Snake River Bassmasters; James Brandt-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Scott Lepka-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters; Brian Ashton-Youth Director-Idaho Bassmasters; Phone-Tammy Shuyler-Secretary/Treasurer-Idaho Bassmasters

Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler
    • Minutes.
    • Treasurer Report
    • Active Members: 352
    • Transferred $700 check from TBF to Youth account.
    • Alex Torok attending 2015 Youth Nationals in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is eligible for up to $800 for travel reimbursement from the Youth account. We need receipts to support paying up to $800 from the Toroks.

Youth Report-Brian Ashton
    • State Youth 2015-2016 Championships-Alex Torok sole youth entry. He will qualify to fish in both this years and next years Youth National Guard.
    • Brian is exploring and brainstorming why the low youth numbers. He noted that High School event this year was poorly attended with just two teams participating.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller
    • The structure plan is scheduled for October 3 at CJ Strike Reservoir. Scott Lepka will be point of contact for building the structure. The concrete will be donated and structures will be built at the concrete plant in Mountain Home. The Mountain Home Hawghunters will build the structure. Jason has pipe material. We will want to ask IDF&G if possible to use their pontoon boat to transport the structures for planting on lake. There will be 3 locations with 20 structures each.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Steve is still waiting to receive Qualifier results for publication.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourhino
    • Final South Qualifier pending August 22-23 at CJ Strike.

Old Business:
    • 2016 Banquet planning-Tammy will contact same location as last banquet, Meridian Senior Citizen Center, to reserve a date. She will also contact Red Lion to determine if it is viable location. The Curb will be retained for the bar along with Smoky Davis to cater the event. The nearby motel will also be contacted to reserve block of rooms.
