The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) Decemberber Meeting Minutes The TIBF monthly meeting was brought to order 7:15pm. December 18, 2014, at JH Marine and Sales, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Tammy Shuyler-Secretary/Treasurer-Idaho Bassmasters; Scyler Hill/Vice President-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications-Snake River Bassmasters; Hunter Hill-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Tom Horrace-Snake River Bassmasters; Jason Fuller-Idaho Bassmasters; Brian Ashton-TIBF Youth Director-Idaho Bassmasters

    • Reimbursed expenses: $47.00- 2015 Youth Tournament Permits-Brian Ashton; $26.00-2015 Banquet Tickets-Steve Day

Youth Report-Brian Ashton
    • Youth Championships-There will be two tournaments. Sunday, June 14, 2015 to qualify for 2015 Junior Nationals and July 26, 2015, to qualify for 2016 Junior Nationals. Both tournaments are at Cascade Res.
    • High School Fishing-High School State Championship date is set for June 28, 2015, at CJ Strike Reservoir.
    • SRB Kid Open-July 18, 2015, CJ Strike Reservoir. Last year 39 youth participated. Robust discussion regarding the success of the Open verses TIBF Youth Championships.
    • Sportsman Show: Seminar Topics will be Youth and High School Fishing

Conservation Report-Davanh reported.
    • Jason Fuller has volunteered to fill the position. Thank you Jason! We look forward to working with you in 2015 and hopefully beyond!
    • CJ Ramp Rebuild-Letters of support can still be sent to IDF&G. See TIBF website for additional contact information. IDF&G will help pay for new vault bathroom.
    • ISCAC gun raffle tickets are available for sale from Steve Day.
    • Steve Day is continuing to attend and represent TIBF at the ISCAC meetings.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourhino
    • Soldier Appreciation Tournament-Date and Location pending. Discussion regarding desire and potential need to combine with other Military event(s).
    • FLW Ranger Cup announcement-Co-Angler/Non-Boater participant spot is being eliminated starting with 2016 event.
    • Due to August 2015 Ranger Cup, qualifier dates are pending for the State.

Old Business:
    • 2015 Sportsman Show: Show date is March 5-8, 2015 at Expo Center, Boise. Davanh will be registering TIBF for show. Volunteer schedule is following: SRB Friday night, Saturday slot is pending, and State Team is scheduled for Sunday. Davanh said he will work on collecting prizes for kids when they hit targets. Brian will order the fishing kits. TIBF will hold seminars at the Show about Youth and High School Fishing.
    • 2015 Annual Banquet planning- Date is February 21, 2015. Location is same as last year at the Meridian Village-Senior Citizen Center, Meridian, Idaho. Steve Day has mailed/hand delivered banquet tickets to club reps and dealerships. Catering company has been identified. Guest Speaker search is ongoing with the assistance of John Burrow-Canyon Marine. Some difficulty in finding speaker to the conflicting date with Bassmaster Classic same weekend as Banquet. Raffle, Major Prizes and contributions are being sought.
    • 2015 State Team Shirts-Brian Ashton will assist Davanh in obtaining state team shirts in time for the February banquet.
     • TIBF 2015 Officer Elections-President-Davanh Sengsourinho; Vice President-Scyler Hill; Secretary- Treasurer-Pending(Tammy will temporarily fill until replacement found)

New Business:
    • No new business
