Conservation Report-Ryan Cullen
- Update - Conservation sign-Life of a Bass. Joe from IDFG suggests that IDFG may not be in favor of Life of a Bass signs; they are more into regulations type of signs. Discussion covered possibly making enough signs to replace those already out on ramps. Project on hold for now.
- Suggestions to make Life of a Bass flyers to hands out, possibly directing them towards youth / future anglers. Hand them out at kid's events, casting events and possibly laminating them and posting them on life vest racks at ramps, if we can get approval from Idaho Parks & Rec.
- Joe from IDFG is soliciting funds for a smallmouth bass tracking study based on Brownlee Reservoir and the rivers that feed into it. They want to know if bass move back and forth between the rivers and reservoir and if so, are the subject to angling pressure and predators in route. IDFG has $10,000 allocated to the project, but they would like more tags so that they can tag more bass. Tags are $200 each; TIBF may buy 3 tags, more discussion needed.
Communication Report-Steve Day
- Power pole rebate and 2017 HS news to be posted. Waiting for 2017 updates on other sponsors.

- Reel Kids Fishing Kits (2)kits-Where? Sportsman Show or Karcher Mall? Discussion on where to hold kid's casting events. It was brought up that it is hard to get enough volunteers to run an event at the Sport Show. Snake River Bassmasters would be willing to run Friday evening, but Saturday and Sunday are hard to staff. Holding an event at the Cabin Fever Reliever event at Karcher Mall is a possibility.
