April 17, 2003 MEETING MINUTES
The regular membership of the Idaho State B.A.S.S.
Federation was called to order by President J.C. Worthen at 7:30 P.M. at the
Creekside Restaurant in Twin Falls.
There were 19 officers,
representatives and guests present.
The minutes of
March 2002 were approved as written.
TREASURY
REPORT: The
Treasurer reported a balance of $13,663.13 of
which $2780.82 is Conservation; $927.47 in the South Operating fund, $355.82
State Team Operating; $4.64Youth; $5,527.43 South State Team and $4006.95 in
General Funds. Treasury report was approved.

YOUTH: Scyler Hill
Scyler has been appointed the Youth Director for the Western
Region.
Magic Valley Bassmasters will be holding a Casting Kids
competition 4/26-27
CONSERVATION: Conservation Officer STEVE
BURK
Idaho Fish & Game has
proposed draining Cascade Reservoir and poisoning it to rebuild the perch
fishery. A meeting is being held April
23 to discuss the details. Allan
Chandler will attend and present the Federations support for the proposal. He will offer the Federations help for fish
rescue and structure building projects.

Several complaints were made
regarding the Wyoming Federation Qualifier held at CJ Strike. All complaints were I regards to the way
fish were handled. A letter is to be
sent to the Wyoming Federation and to National.
Clubs holding tournaments at
Owyhee Reservoir must have an insurance binder from B.A.S.S. to show Oregon
State Parks.
There being no more new business, President Worthen
reminded all that the next meeting would be on May 21, 2003 at TriState
Marine. The meeting adjourned at
8:30p.m.
