The Idaho
Bass Federation (TIBF) meeting Minutes Thursday, December 17, 2009, 7:00pm.
The TIBF December monthly meeting
was brought to order 7:00pm., at Western Marine, Nampa, Idaho.
Those in attendance were: Bruce,
Flesher, President; Tammy Shuyler, Secretary-Treasurer; Steve
Jones-Conservation Director; Steve Day-Communications and SRBM; Tony Shuyler,
IBM; Jared Spickelmier-IBA; Scyler Hill-MVBM.
Treasurer Report-Tammy
Shuyler
1) Dobyn’s
TIBF Banquet speaker fee $300 approved for payment.
2) Treasurer
reports end date to be changed to end of month to correlate with banking
statements.
3) ISCAC
$200 annual fee paid.
4) FLW
dues contract is 5 years at $35/per year.

Youth Report-John

Conservation Report-Steve
Jones-Bruce presented on behalf of Steve in his absence.
- Avimor
structure plant-concerns discussed regarding fact it is concrete lined and
has pumps installed. These aspects
will make it near impossible for structure plant.
- Cascade
structure plant-Fish and Game contact, Dale Aller, seeking input for new
structure spot locations.
- Tony
Shuyler to provide picture of structures he built to Bruce Flesher.
- Steve
Jones will continue to develop and plan structure plant program.
Communication Report-Steve
Day
- Business
cards created by Steve delivered to officers and federation reps.
- TBF
will maintain a state website for $500.00 per year. Vermont’s
website could be viewed for an example of TBF websites. Item tabled. Steve Day will continue maintenance of
TIBF website.

entry form has been uploaded to TIBF website.
Old Business
- Second
reading of FLW dues payment requirement TIBF by-law change. All in attendance approved by-law
change. Member clubs should also
consider amending their own club by-laws.
“Article II: MEMBERSHIP
SECTION 2: DUES
A. Individuals of member clubs will be required
to pay dues to The Idaho Bass
Federation in the
amount of $8.00 annually and to The Bass Federation, Inc. in the amount of
$15.00 annually. From
dues paid to The Idaho Bass Federation $1.00 will be set aside as a Survivor Fund.
This fund will pay to the immediate survivor relative $100.00 on the
loss of any
current paid member to The Idaho Bass Federation. In addition, each
individual accepted
as a member to a chapter will pay dues to FLW Outdoors in the amount of $35.00
annually. These dues must be paid to the
chapter no later than December 31st of each year. “

- Magic Valley Open is changed from May 8
to May 15. Steve will update
website.
New Business
- Bruce
announced that there are 10-$100 Evinrude gift certificates
available. Most likely to be used
at 2010 TIBF Banquet.
- Bruce
has suggested there be consideration of a hardship fund creation to assist
members with $35.00 FLW dues payment.
Item tabled.
- Solar
Bat Glasses Fundraiser-Bruce will order sample kit which can be passed
around to Idaho
clubs for order placements. Great
fundraiser for clubs.
- TIBF
Banquet suggestions for future-Utilize powerpoint
for sponsor logos. Obtain a drum
for raffle tickets.
- ISCAC
Meeting-Bruce emphasizes continued individual involvement in ISCAC. TIBF is a member. Go to www.ISCAC.org
for further information. ISCAC
members are encouraged to contact Idaho Legislative members on all issues
and to sign up for the email blasts from ISCAC. ISCAC guarantees email recipient will
not be spammed, no junk mail or hit by any unsolicited emails.

Species Sticker-time for renewal.
