Meeting

Oct 21, 2004

 

 

President J.C. Worthen called the regular membership of the Idaho State B.A. S. S federation to order at 7:45 P.M. at the Tri State Marine.

 

The minutes from the September 15, 2004 were read and passed.

 

 

TREASURE REPORT:

 

Report from the treasure was read and motion made to accept and passed.

 

YOUTH REPORT:       Scyler: The youth needs to have their qualifier completed before June 15.  Trying to finish it sooner makes it easier to get the paper work submitted to the nationals.  Suggestion of a way to earn some money for the youth that will attend the classic.  Last year state provided money for the 2 kids that fished and one parent to attend with them.

 

Larry R.  Mentioned he had some ideas and was willing to help but he also needs more help when it comes time to do these functions.

 

 

 

CONSERVATION REPORT:        Mike:  The next day for the plant structure will be on November 5.  They will meet at TV Marine and pour concrete and then go out on the 12th with the help of fish and game and get these delivered in C. J. 

 

COMMUNICATION REPORT:    Steve:  No report

 

TOURNAMENT REPORT:  Bruce:  Ready for the snow bowl looking forward to having a good turn out.  Hoping for decent weather. 

Bruce and Gary will be meeting on October the 30 with the New 2005 State Team to go over the Code of Conduct and other items.

 

Old Business:       Scales of Justice was a success and the judge was very happy with the turn out and response from the BASS members. 

 

Dusty shared information regarding the 2006 divisional at Lake Lowell.

 

Reminder that the state federations banquet will be on January 22, 2005 at the Caldwell Elks Club.   Don Cochran mentioned that he would make every effort to attend this.

 


The October 15th meeting was held in Mountain Home to go over By-Laws and Conduct of Team rules.  Still some things that need to be finalized so that it can be approve and voted by the board and passed then they can be sent in to BASS.

 

New Business:     Gary went over the various By Law updates and changes to be voted on next meeting. 

J. C.  Opened the nominations for the up coming year federation officers.
