January Meeting Minutes

Treasurer Report -Bobbie Littlefield
- Account Balances: General Account $2625.65, SW Qualifier $1694.54, Youth 1222.14
- Tammy and Bobbie to set up a Pay Pal account for easier purchase of raffle tickets and banquet tickets.
Youth Report- Chris Adams
- Chris Adams has agreed to take over the Youth director position for TIBF! Thank you Chris.
- IBN and TIBF will work together holding events on respective weekends. High school qualifier May 6,7 2017 CJ Strike- Black Sands and Youth Qualifier August 5,6 2017 at Lake Lowell, Caldwell ramp.
- The question came up if High School seniors may qualify for youth events. Tammy and Eddie will check the rules and revisit at the next meeting.
Conservation Report – Ryan Cullen
- The life of Bass signs have been put on hold due to Fish and Game regulations.
- Ryan has suggested purchasing 5 radio tags for the graduate student who will start a smallmouth bass tracking study on Brownlee Res in March. The total cost for the tags at $895. The board voted in favor and Bobbie will call and take care of the purchase. IDGF can use volunteers for the study please see Ryan for details.
Communication Report- Steve Day
- Banquet tickets and gun raffle tickets printed and delivered. Steve Day reimbursed for printing cost.
Tournament Report -Eddie Garcia
- Schedule change for the TBF qualifier championship. It will now be held July 29,30 at CJ Strike-Black Sands.
- Schedule change for the combined IBN/TBF youth championships. It will be held August 5,6 at Lake Lowell Caldwell ramp.
- Qualifier rule change that the Saturday prior to any tournament piggy backed with a TBF event will be a open fish day.
- Eddie has written up a sponsor ad agreement. Please contact Eddie for details.
Old Business:
- Volunteers needed for the annual Cabin Fever Reliever at the Karcher Mall February 4, 2017. Application available on website.
- The 2017 TIBF annual Banquet will be held February 18, at the Meridian senior center Kleiner Park. The cost is $35 per ticket. This will include 1 major raffle ticket and 10 general raffle tickets. The menu will include a Tri tip meal catered by Smokey Davis and a no host bar.
- Idaho Fish and Game will speak about current topics including the impact of severe winter weather for the spring/summer bass fishing and the upcoming SMB (smallmouth bass) tagging project.
- Gun Raffle tickets are on sale for $10 each. The guns for raffle are a 243 Savage Trophy 11, valued at $600 and a Barretta A300 semi-automatic valued at $775.00. The proceeds will go to the 2017 TIBF State Qualifier travel fund.
- Each TIBF member club is asked to provide a donation for the silent auction or raffle. Please keep in mind that you may cater to the anglers, the wives and ladies as well as the youth. Individual TBF members are also welcome to donate as well.
New Business:
- National sponsor update- We now have Lowrance, Ranger and Cabelas contracts. We are still waiting for Hummingbird/Minnkota. Tammy will have details soon.
