Youth report- Chris
-High School TBF Kyle and Eyston finished 38th out of 200 teams. Great job!
-The 2017 TIBF youth tournament at Lake Lowell Aug 5,6 has been postponed due to lack of participation. Chris will try to reschedule soon.
-The 2017 Junior World Championships are scheduled for August 10-12 at Lake Wateree near Camden, South Carolina. Devin Caywood will be fishing for Idaho. We wish you luck Devin!
Conservation Report – Ryan Cullen
-All tags have been implanted for the SMB study. Please spread the word to release any fish caught that are tagged. Volunteers are needed to help collect data if interested please contact Ryan Cullen. 2 tagged fish have been caught. One in the back of the Powder river and the other caught near were the Weiser River meets the Snake River.
Communication Report- Steve Day
-All up to date. Tammy has some pictures from the last qualifier to give Steve.
Tournament Report – Eddie Garcia
-The championship weekend is July 29, 30 CJ Strike Black sands. The Boater and Co-angler list are complete. Sadly Eddie Garcia has stepped down as the tournament director. Thank you for all your hard work and we will miss you! Tournament Director for this weekend will be Tammy. The Board Voted to add 2 more Boats to the semi qualifier, so we will be sending a total of 8 Boaters and co-anglers to Montana.
Old Business
-2017 Military Tournament July 8-Post tournament report. Event went well with 12 volunteer boats and 20+ Co-Anglers.
-2017 JWC and FLW Cup Attendees-Chris Adams-Youth Director; Ryan Cullen-Conservation Director; Scott Lepka-Vice President-TIBF will reimburse each for respective air fare and one car rental.
New Business
-Scales of Justice 2017 – Scheduled for September 17. Boater volunteers are being sought. Letters were mailed to past volunteers.
-2017 ID-MT Semi-Final Championship-Scheduled for Noxon Reservoir, Sept. 23-24, 2017. Jerseys will be ordered for the TIBF Qualifier top 8 Boaters/8 Co-Anglers.
