June 18, 2015 Meeting Minutes

The TIBF May monthly meeting was brought to order 7:05 p.m. at J/H Sales & Marine, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Scyler Hill/Vice President-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications-Snake River Bassmasters; James Brandt-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Scott Lepka- Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Phone: Tammy Shuyler-Secretary/Treasurer-Idaho Bassmasters;.

Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler
    • Treasurer Report
    • 348 active members (increase of 24 members since May, 2015)
    • Tammy needs to know how to deposit and allocate the $700 check from TBF issued to State Team.

Youth Report-Brian Ashton not present
    • Youth Championship Tournament was June 14, on Cascade Reservoir report is pending.
    • • State Championship for 2016 Qualifier scheduled for July 26 at Cascade Res.
    • High School Championship is June 28 at C.J. Strike.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller
    • The structure plan is tentatively scheduled for October 3 at CJ Strike Reservoir. Scott Lepka will be point of contact for building the structure. The concrete will be donated and structures will be built at the concrete plant in Mountain Home. Jason has pipe material. We will want to ask IDF&G if possible to use their pontoon boat to transport the structures for planting on lake.
    • Lake Lowell-There is ongoing concern about health of the bass in Lake Lowell. More information to follow.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Need the results from the first two North Qualifiers.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourinho
    • Soldier Appreciation tournament will be held June 20 at CJ Strike. Currently have 15 boats. Boater meeting 5pm. with weigh-in 3pm. BBQ to follow.

Old Business:
    • 2016 Banquet planning-Tammy will contact same location as last banquet, Meridian Senior Citizen Center, to reserve a date. It remains the least expensive location to hold a banquet with great accomodations. Will also have Smoky Davis cater the event.
    • 2015 TIBF/TBF/FLW Dues-TIBF member clubs are responsible for collection from individual members. Once collected, club secretary-treasurer will sign online at to create an invoice.
