May 28, 2015 Meeting Minutes

The TIBF May monthly meeting was brought to order 7:10 p.m. at J/H Sales & Marine, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Scyler Hill/Vice President-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications-Snake River Bassmasters; Jason Fuller, Conservation; James Brandt-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Scott Lepka- Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters.


Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler not present, Davanh reported
    • Treasurer Report

Youth Report-Brian Ashton not present
    • Youth Championship Tournament-Scheduled for June 14, on Cascade Reservoir. Cutoff date to sign up is May 31.
    • High School Championship is June 28 at C.J. Strike.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller
    • Jason has turned 3 possible structure plant locations on C.J. Strike over to IDFG. IDFG will be getting the necessary permits. We need to set a date for the structure plant; looking at possibly early October.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Need the results from the first two North Qualifiers.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website http://www.idahobassfed.com for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourinho
    • Bryson Mort is the boater and Loren Torok the non-boater going to 2016 Nationals to represent Idaho. They were our top two anglers at the Noxon Reservoir Divisional.
    • Soldier App tournament is June 20 on C.J. Strike. We need about 15 boats to take air base people out for a day of fishing. Looking at doing a BBQ after the tournament.

Old Business:
    • 2015 members: currently 324 with more pending.
    • 2015 TIBF/TBF/FLW Dues-TIBF member clubs are responsible for collection from individual members. Once collected, club secretary-treasurer will sign online at www.tbfwebservices.com/app.php to create an invoice. Please send dues payment to: Tammy Shuyler, TIBF Secretary-Treasurer, 3875 N Hartley Road, Eagle, ID 83616.     • 2016 Banquet planning. Date will be Feb. 20. New location is being researched.

New Business:
    • IBM donated $300 for food for the SRB Youth Open; Buffalo Wild Wings stopped providing food, so this will help provide a good BBQ for the kids.
