They would have a casting pond to help teach kids casting, info booths, demonstration and door prizes. Volunteers need to sign up in advance due to background checks. Any donation to the organization at tax deductible.

Old Business

  • Bruce is again requesting comments/changes on the TIBF Procedures Manual. He will send out the most current version via e-mail.
  • 2013 TIBF Officers: current nominations are:
    • President: Davahn Sensourghino
    • Vice-President: Scyler Hill
    • Secretary/Treasurer: Tammy Shuyler
    • Clubs need to vote on the officers and bring their results to the November TIBF meeting or send a proxy vote to Bruce via e-mail.
  • The discount IMX7 fishing rods for 2013 TBF dues payment are nearly gone; if you want in on the deal, submit your dues ASAP.

New Business

  • Bruce is working with John Burrow at Canyon Marine to get a guest speaker for the banquet. It will be the same deal as last year: we provide the hotel room and pay half of the airfare.
  • 2013 Sportsman's Show will be Feb. 28 - Mar. 3. We need increased participation in the casting event and booth or we will have to cancel our participation.
  • TIBF is a member of ISCAC and pays $300 per year dues. ISCAC meets 6 times per year and each member organization is required to have a rep there. Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of the month at the IDFG offices on Walnut Street in Boise. Bruce has been doing this since we joined and wants someone else to step up and take over.
  • There is a constitutional amendment in the Idaho election; it concerns guaranteeing the right to hunt, fish and trap in Idaho. It is suggested that TIBF members vote YES.

Meeting adjourned 8:15 p.m.
