The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) October Meeting Minutes The TIBF monthly meeting was brought to order 7:05pm. , October 15, 2015, at J/H Marine and Sales, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications- Snake River Bassmasters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters; Scyler Hill -Magic Valley Bassmasters; James Brandt-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters; Scott Lepka-Mountain Home Hawg Hunters.

Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler not present
    •Active Members: 352+

Youth Report-Brian Ashton not present
    • We are still exploring and brainstorming why the low youth numbers and trying to figure out how to get the participation up.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller not present
    • The structure plan scheduled for October 10 at CJ Strike Reservoir went well. We planted about 75 structures total in three different locations.
    • IDF&G is looking into the skinny fish at Lake Lowell. TIBF may want to look into projects to help the fish out: catch and bring in crappies for forage, do another fish rescue from the Caldwell side canal when they drop the water, look into getting IDF&G to put a limit on panfish.
    • Owyhee County Sheriff is trying to get a grant to buy a new jet boat and wants a letter of support from TIBF.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Waiting to receive Qualifier results from North; received East Qualifier results.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourhino
    • There are some big changes coming in the TBF Qualifier program.

Old Business:
    • 2016 Banquet planning-Tammy will contact same location as last banquet, Meridian Senior Citizen Center, to reserve a date. The Curb will be retained for the bar along with Smoky Davis to cater the event.
    • We need to arrange a guest speaker and a block of hotel rooms for the banquet.

New Business:
    • A discussion was held concerning what is going to happen for the 2015 Snow Bowl. IBM stated that they were out and now want to run it with help from other clubs.
    • Idaho Bass Hunter Open tournament on C.J. Strike Oct. 31.
    • 2016 Officer Nominations need to be turned in by next meeting. Davahn may stay for another year as president; Tammy and Scyler are done and need to be replae by new blood.
    • Next meeting is before the 2016 Date Setting meeting; 6:00 p.m. in the meeting room in the back of Cabela's on Thursday November 12.
