The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) Meeting Minutes Thursday, September 16, 2014, 7:00pm.

The TIBF September monthly meeting was brought to order 7:00p.m. Sept. 16, 2014, at J&H Sales and Marine, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Tammy Shuyler-Secretary/Treasurer-Idaho Bassmasters; Scyler Hill/Vice President-Magic Valley Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications-Snake River Bassmasters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters; Hunter Hill -Magic Valley Bassmasters

Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler
    • Minutes.
    • Treasurer Report
    • Secretary-Treasurer position will be vacated by Tammy end of 2014.

Youth Report-Brian Ashton
    • Brian seeking travel funding to HS Divisionals at Clear Lake, CA. He would like to contact other State Youth Directors while in Clear Lake to brainstorm with them regarding their Youth organization including recruiting and maintaining/increasing Youth membership. No consensus at meeting to support the cost. Davanh will further discuss with Brian following the meeting. No vote.
    • Brian will be reserving a TIBF spot at the 2015 Sportsman Show.

Conservation Report-Position vacant. (interested Member sought to fill position) Davanh reported.
    • The CJ Strike Black Sands launch ramp will be undergoing renovation in cooperation with IDF&G and Owyhee County.
    • A conservation suggestion: Remove bass from Lake Lowell when water turned off to preserve the fish.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • Steve has published the North Qualifier results.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourinho
    • South Qualifer complete.
    • East Qualifier is ongoing. Only two members participating. Brandon Craner and Scyler Hill will fish one more day to determine final results.
    • Scales of Justice is September 21 at CJ Strike. Boater volunteers are needed.
    • Qualifier scheduling is being considered on two weekends to accommodate 4 tournaments.

Old Business:
    • 2014 TIBF/TBF/FLW Dues-TIBF member clubs are responsible for collection from individual members. Once collected, club secretary-treasurer will sign online at to create an invoice. For questions, please contact Tammy at 208-484-9278 or e-mail
    • 2015 Annual Banquet planning ongoing. Date being reserved at the Meridian Village-Senior Citizen Center is February 21. Members are contacting member catering companies to determine if interested. Tammy to call Gary with Moons Catering to see if they are interested again this year.

New Business:
    • No new business.
