The Idaho Bass Federation (TIBF) September Meeting Minutes The TIBF monthly meeting was brought to order 7:00pm. , September 17, 2015, at J/H Marine and Sales, Nampa, Idaho. Those in attendance were: Davanh Sengsourinho/President-Idaho Bassmasters; Steve Day/Communications- Snake River Bassmasters; Bill Kriner-Snake River Bassmasters; Scyler Hill -Magic Valley Bassmasters; Jason Fuller -TIBF Conservation; Tom Horrace -Snake River Bassmasters.

Secretary-Treasurer Report-Tammy Shuyler not present
    •Active Members: 352+

Youth Report-Brian Ashton not present
    • Brian is exploring and brainstorming why the low youth numbers. He noted that High School event this year was poorly attended with just two teams participating.

Conservation Report-Jason Fuller
    • The structure plan is scheduled for October 10 at CJ Strike Reservoir, we will meet in Mountain Home around 8:00 a.m. to haul structures to the lake and go out about 11:00 a.m. to drop structures. We may need to have a struture building party in Mountain Home to ensure that we get enough structures built. IDF&G is bringing two boats to transport the structures for planting on lake. They want to make sure we are making enough structures to make the project worth while.
    • IDF&G is looking into the skinny fish at Lake Lowell. TIBF may want to look into projects to help the fish out: catch and bring in crappies for forage, do another fish rescue from the Caldwell side canal when they drop the water, look into getting IDF&G to put a limit on panfish.
    • Owyhee County Sheriff is trying to get a grant to buy a new jet boat and wants a letter of support from TIBF.

Communication Report-Steve Day
    • South Qualifiers results posted on website, waiting to receive Qualifier results from North and East.
    • Steve Day is offering to TIBF member clubs to create and maintain club websites. Annual cost $100. Steve will be sending out his annual invoices for his services.
    • Members can go to TIBF website for all updates and information.
    • TIBF members have free ad space available on website.

Tournament Report-Davanh Sengsourhino
    • Final South Qualifiers were August 22-23 at CJ Strike.

Old Business:
    • 2016 Banquet planning-Tammy will contact same location as last banquet, Meridian Senior Citizen Center, to reserve a date. She will also contact Red Lion to determine if it is viable location. The Curb will be retained for the bar along with Smoky Davis to cater the event. The nearby motel will also be contacted to reserve block of rooms.

New Business:
    • A discussion was held concerning what is going to happen for the 2015 Snow Bowl. IBM stated that they were out and now want to run it with help from other clubs.
